Who are you not to be amazing?

It’s not your fault that you are amazing
Or that you bring the sun into a room
You sure can’t help that the stars twinkle
A bit more brightly when you’re around
Or that the breeze echoes your name
When you have only just gone past.
But you’re to blame when you decide
To put a cork on your awesomeness
Because someone else is threatened
By the many delightful colors on your coat.
It will be your fault if you dim your beauty
For others cos they can’t stand to see you
Being your amazing, illumined, wondrous self.
