Time is a Gift

This Gift called Time

I’ve often thought of Time as a Gift. Here’s a scenario that kind of explains this idea. Take a cooking competition or a home makeover one. You have different teams given the same amount of money. They have to buy their own materials and work on creating something new and amazing. How is the winner judged? Is the amount of money they spend? Their creativity? How original their idea is? How put together what they designed or created is? How well it works? All of the above?

This is how Time works too. We all have time to make with it whatever we can. We are all given Time as a Gift. Miles Monroe had this to say about time; “Time is so powerful that whatever you invest your time in, you become.”

Time can be abused. Time can also be lost. Just like money, time can be squandered. Like an asset or liability, time can depreciate. It can also be devalued. What are you spending it on?… Like an investment portfolio, You can manage it. You can use it. You can invest it. You can convert it. You can use time to develop, build and construct things. You can increase the value of your time by your choices.

Your Time or Your Tab?

If you knew how much time you had, would you live differently? What would you do more or less of? Are people better off because they have more time? or less? What would you change If you had more time? What would you change if you had less time?

Time is your currency as make your way through life. How you spend it, what you do with it is up to you. No one can spend your time on your behalf. Whatever control anyone has over your time is the one that you gave them. Your time is your gift to use as you wish. Don’t waste it.

    Delightful piece.

“Time is your currency as [you] make your way through life.”

Thanks Tise. I totally agree. I think it’s quite helpful to think of time working for us as opposed to it working against us, especially when we put it to good use. Lol
