It’s never really about what job or business you do. It’s more about who you really are.
How did we all agree that there is only one way to be educated – sitting behind a desk for 6-3-3-4 years, writing tests and exams and collecting a certificate at the end of it all?
It’s the realness to watching a young woman take great risk against everything she has been taught, and all she ever believed in and experienced to forge a new path for herself when none existed and create a spot within a space where she would never belong.
In the journey of life, you will share many experiences with many people. They will come into your life and space, playing different roles.
The dreams of your parents and their parents before them were enough to build your existing reality. They will not be enough to build the bridges that you will need to cross over to your next level. By then, your dreams will have to take over.
COVID-19 may just happen to have turned the world on its axis faster than it usually goes.
I returned to Nigeria and was certain I would get a job. I mean who wouldn’t want talent that had been grown and nurtured by the ‘abroad’ folk. How wrong I was.
There are several doors of opportunities before you where your future career is concerned. Your journey is about discovering which one best suits you.
